The past decade has seen composer Bob Bellerue transform various ideas about prepared noise action into varied musical composition with a focus and energy that is unmatched.  His history with projects like Redglaer and Halfnormal, assorted releases through his own Sleepy Hollow Editions and Half Normal labels, and his infamous Ende Tymes Festival in Brooklyn, NY have made Bellerue a patron namesake among most tight-knit experimental musicians.  This release equals two live performances recorded at the Phi Phenomena “10 Artists in 60 Minutes” yearly events in 2009 and 2011. Collaborative effort on behalf of Ryan Martin (York Factory Complaint/DeTrop) and Anthony Mangicapra (Hoor-paar-Kraat) which brought the two into a spiritual helix, combining sourced recordings which came to light shortly after their live performance in the Fall of 2012. Each edition hand made, hand painted and stamped with its selective number.  Joint release with Mangicapra’s Goat Eat Arts.

Visual artist Richard Vergez newest musical compositions always take new meaning whether it is in his hyper-cosmic Möthersky project or a free form oddity as we have been graciously exposed to within Drowning the Virgin Silence.  With his newest release, we keep falling further down the rabbit hole with cut-up atrocities confined to tape documentation, surrealist noise put back in its place.

Since the mid-90′s, Argentinian composer Anla Courtis has found an uncomfortable nest within his strange and abstract music.  Meanwhile on the opposite side of the planet, Richard Francis has been establishing himself within his outpost in New Zealand as a sage of ambient drone waveforms.  When both of these minds melded across the Pacific, the following documentation was born.  Studied and paced drone textured without any caution using cut-ups, modular electronics and bent instrumentation.

Distorted ambient death rattles by upstate NY artists Cory E. Card and Jen Marquart wraps up another perfect release in Debris.  Blistering drones that contradict itself , layered shards of voice and tape wrapped up in a tangled fray.  Known to many from their adventures on Carbon, House of Alchemy and Peasant Majik, this newest release portrays the band as more jagged and referential that previously displayed…both sides forming a perfect union of medium and host.

Swedish artist Leif Elggren has a monumental list of creative accomplishments in both the visual art world as well as a recording artist.  His first recorded piece, Cu, from 1982 firmly established Elggren as a archivist of his own work using recorded source material and field recording techniques.  For his newest cassette lucidly entitled Sleepwalking, Elggren taped notation of his recent performance which was debuted at the Sleep Disorders exhibition in NYC during the Summer of 2012. Biblical prophecy from the hands of Pierre-Marc Tremblay (Akitsa / Contrepoison) under the permissions of Âmes Sanglantes, prayer music for the pious unsought.  Noise swatch synthesizer omens easing steadily into a electronic benediction.  Over the past 14 years, this project has released some of its most dissent sounds on labels such as Hospital Productions, Troniks & Tour De Garde. Now focusing on a classical theme of disparate redemption and revelation, using the fatality of analog electronics to provide the hammer for the coffin’s nails.

Have the gods gone mad? Future Blondes are hosting the acid orgy and no one got invited!!!  Recently releasing their debut full length LP entitled ‘Feather 17′ on Blind Prophet, Domokos and his band of psychojackers have been hitting the blacktop playing a variety of shows, all of which have fabricated the wormhole of space time into a wigwam of flip-trip-rhythm and noise-pistol action.  This CDr documents a live recording during the maelstrom at the Libertine Social Club in July 2012, thus setting back civilization 100 years! Not for the easy listening but definitely for anyone easy.
